With this website I want to document and bring into focus a topic still little considered so
far: Christians inside the European Union increasingly have to be prepared again for not just facing
disadvantages but being persecuted because of their faith. The documentation presented by me shows that
this statement is not the product of the perception of people having a notably paranoid disposition: What may
seem like a topic of past times or faraway countries, some of us experience in individual cases already
in everyday life.
|
|
In the largest part of Central Europe, in particular in Germany, Christians are still able to live
their relationship with Jesus Christ in liberty (otherwise this website would not be hosted on a
German server). I am convinced, however, that this will gradually change in the sooner future - rougher
times are approaching. I justify this with spiritual developments in Continental Europe in recent
history, which will be dealt with at another place yet (still being worked out, as well as a
"spiritual world map" concerning the topics "persecution" and "revival").
Concrete incidents that occurred in some European Union countries in the recent past, and the ideological
diction of many media and some representatives of governmental bodies point more and more apparently into
this direction.

|
In the context of this website I want to understand the following by the term "persecution
of Christians":
- Threat to body, life and possession of Bible-believing Christians by a significant part of the
local population or by governmental and non-governmental organisations
- Criminal persecution or intelligence surveillance of Bible-believing Christians due to behaviours
and activities being inseparably connected with the faith in Jesus Christ like e.g.:
- Prayer
- Attending and holding services
- Activities aiming at a change of other people's world views or philosophies of life
("conversion") towards a relationship with Jesus Christ by witnessing, convincing,
and argument, e.g. personal talks, public lectures, sermons, calls, writing and publishing
scripts, activities in mission
- Consulting the Bible as a standard of values in living and acting, for commenting on
lifestyles or on current events and affairs of public interest
- Imparting Biblical orientation in children's education
- Denial of behaviours and practices being under God's ban according to the message of the
Bible, e.g. worship and adoration of humans (e.g. Hitler, Stalin, Kim Jong Il) or
organisations, or contempt, abusing and killing of humans because of a certain current state
of health, a certain current life phase (e.g. abortion, euthanasia) or because of a certain
ethnical or religious affiliation/origin (e.g. antisemitism).
- Other systematic substantial obstruction of the above-mentioned activities
- Legislation procedures which serve the goal of creating possibilities for criminal persecution resp.
for the substantial obstruction of the above-mentioned activities.
While I currently do not have evidence for the first kind of persecution of Christians from the area of
the European Union, there are already some indications and concrete incidents concerning the other kinds,
which will be examined here.
|
|
This website is intended to serve primarily the following two goals:
|
|
Recording the further development of the situation of Bible-believing Christians inside the European
Union in its individual steps and the processes of spiritual change being behind this development.
|
|
Bringing the fact that persecution of Christians is actually occurring inside of the European Union,
as well as the related individual incidents, into the awareness of a broader public; for only little
has become known so far concerning this topic, since there is hardly any interest of media, or
because measures of persecution go off very subtly and discretely.

URGENT: Germany to deport Iranian Bible-believing Christian back to Iran!
According to press releases, German authorities denied asylum for Iranian asylum seeker and Bible-believing
Christian Reza Mamipour Abri (30) and are about to deport him back to Iran where he is threatened to be
sentenced to death because of proclaiming Jesus Christ. Scarcely believable, but the Administrative Court in
Ansbach dealing with this case denied asylum already in 2003 by arguing that "Reza would be safe in Iran when
he would stop professing Jesus and behave unobtrusively". After that it wouldn't be surprising any more
when in the sooner future German Bible-believing Christians are told similar things by the German authorities,
too...
WWW.PERSECUTIO.EU protests against the decision of German authorities to deport Reza which was made in complete
ignorance of facts, and asks you to contact the Federal Authority for Migration and Refugees, Federal
Chancellor Merkel, Federal President Köhler, or the German embassy in your country, and to sign an
online petition against the deportation of Reza Mamipour Abri at
soulsaver.de!
